Streatham Ice and Leisure Centre
For the last two years our main rink was a temporary rink in Brixton (South London), while the new Streatham rink was under construction. Well, when we say temporary, it was pretty sturdy and comfortable, with spacious changing rooms, spectator seating and everything else that a good rink needs.
The new centre is just a 5 minute walk from Streatham train station, so it’s perfectly accessible from across London. A large number of buses also stop just outside of Streatham Ice and Leisure Centre, for details visit tfl.gov.uk
There is a car park at the centre (access from Streatham High Road), with plenty of spaces, it is a pay and display parking, adjoining the new Tesco Extra Store.
Please note, the Blizzard Under 16s team plays games at Alexandra Palace in Haringey.
Streatham ice rink
The old Streatham ice rink has been completely redeveloped. The old rink closed it’s doors for the last time on 18th December 2011 and was demolished to give way to the new streatham ice and leisure centre, with a full-size 1,000 seat ice rink.
The new leisure centre is scheduled to open 18th November 2013.
In the meantime, you can follow the progress of the construction work via Streatham Ice Skating Action Group.
